Double-crested Cormorant
(Phalacrocorax auritus)
Photographed in Everglades National Park, Florida, and Monterey California, by Jim Rosso
The cormorant on the left had just caught a catfish in the water and came to shore to position the fish so it could be swallowed. The cormorant on the right has just caught a small fish.
