Wood Duck and Hooded Merganser Nest Site
A small number of duck species nest in cavities, usually found in trees. These cavities are getting harder to find, so individuals and groups are creating human made nest sites that ducks can utilize. These pictures show a typical nest box and a nest box with eggs from a Hooded Merganser.
