Wilson's Snipe
(Gallinago delicata)
Photographed in Stateline, Nevada, by Jim Rosso.
There were at least two pairs of Snipe nesting in a very large meadow. They would often get up on the fence posts in the area and vocalize. This was the first time I have ever watched Snipe vocalizing during a a breeding period.
