Photographed in the Everglades,
Florida and Texas, by Jim Rosso, Karen Billings, and Don
Schmoldt.

The picture on the right has a
Snowy
Egret on the right of the
White Ibis. As I watched them it seemed that the Snowy Egret
was purposely feeding around the Ibis so it could take
advantage of the food that the Ibis stirred up with its feet
and beak.
The birds on the left are in immature
plumage.
